Somewhere in the attic, hidden in boxes and in countless scrapbooks. We all have them; pictures from the past that show the dearest (family) memories. Isn’t it a shame we generally don’t look at them very much? Because when we do, we often find true gems hidden among them. How wonderful would it be to bring these memories back to life in your interior!
Frequently, we get to see the most wonderful memories turned into an IXXI. But how do you go about creating a good quality IXXI on the basis of an old photograph? Chantal (@wonenbijchantal) makes a suggestion:
‘I chose to lay my image flat on the ground and to photograph it with my SLR Camera in RAW setting. It is very important to edit the photo well (and to leave it bright). I was quite nervous, but got blown away by the result. Wow!’
As an extra tip, we’d like to add: get your photograph professionally scanned at the highest resolution. If necessary, you could further edit the image for brightness and/or exposure, or choose one of the filters available through the IXXI module online.
Many people have already led the way; get inspired by their retro IXXIs. What story will you tell with your IXXI?
